Only 25 sites have full hookups, and our index lists a 38-foot maximum with 30-amp service, individual water and sewer, gravel pads and limited cottonwood shade. Rates are a live quote, and you book by calling the concessioner, not through Recreation.gov, which is where most people go wrong. Park entrance is a separate fee. October through April is the sensible window; 30-amp power means one air conditioner, which is not enough for a Big Bend summer. The trade-off is remoteness: zero cell signal, an aging water system, and the nearest full-service town roughly 100 miles away.
