It suits travelers who want a polished, amenity-heavy base for the theme parks and Hill Country day trips, big rigs included.
Every site is full hookup with water, sewer and 30/50-amp, plus WiFi and cable, and the sites are generous enough that our guide calls the park big-rig friendly. Rates are resort-tier; the operator quotes current nightly pricing on request, so call for a live number. Reservations are direct. San Antonio is a year-round destination, so book ahead for holidays and school breaks. The park has long been one of the higher-rated options on this side of the city. The trade-off is that it is a resort out by the loop road, so plan on driving to downtown, and expect resort pricing rather than campground rates.
