About RV Parks Guide

We started RV Parks Guide because most campground directories are either thin listicles or thinly disguised advertising. You deserve better information before committing your rig — and your weekend — to a park.

Today the site runs to more than 200 guides and park reviews across 19 states, from state pillar guides down to individual campground reviews. Every one is written under a named byline and re-checked against official sources — park services, state reservation systems, and operators' own rate pages — rather than recycled from other directories.

What We Do

We research and write detailed, honest guides to RV parks and campgrounds across the United States. Every guide covers the practical details that matter: hookup quality, cell signal, noise levels, real pricing, site conditions, and nearby attractions.

Start with the state hubs if you know where you're going, the full guide index if you're still deciding, or the RV park price index if you want to know what a site should actually cost.

Who Writes This

We publish under real bylines, because you should be able to judge who is telling you a campground is worth the drive.

Our full methodology, including what we verify and how we handle facts we can't confirm, is on the how we review page.

Our Standards

No paid rankings. Parks don't pay to appear in our guides or to improve their position. If we recommend a park, it's because we think it's worth your time.

Practical details first. Scenic photos are nice, but they don't tell you whether your 40-foot Class A will fit, whether your Verizon phone works, or whether the campground host enforces quiet hours. We focus on the information that determines whether you'll actually enjoy a stay.

State-by-state depth. Rather than a thin national directory, we go deep on each state — regions, seasons, price ranges, and the specific parks worth the drive.

How We Make Money

RV Parks Guide is supported by display advertising. We may also participate in affiliate programs where relevant. Our editorial coverage is not influenced by advertising relationships — if a park isn't worth recommending, it doesn't make the guide regardless of who's advertising on the page.
