Hookups vary sharply by area: 12 full-hookup pull-throughs (Shady Meadows 144 to 155, 20/30/50 amp, no shade) at $35, 50-amp water/electric in Live Oak and Rio Frio, 30-amp in several loops, and water-only sites at $15 to $20 that cap equipment at 20 feet. Add the $8 per person daily entrance fee. Reservations open five months out at 8 a.m. Central through Texas Parks and Wildlife, and summer weekends and the full-hookup sites can sell out within hours. Live Oak and Persimmon Hill close in January and February. Fit is site-specific, so enter your complete equipment length. The trade-off is competition: half of Texas is trying to book the same weekend, and the prime Pecan Grove sites are water-only for rigs 20 feet or under.

Book Garner if you can hit the five-month window and want the Frio River, the pavilion, and public-park prices with real 50-amp options. Skip it if you need shade with sewer, run a big rig without flexibility, or want to decide on a summer trip a few weeks out.
Yes, but only 12 sites: Shady Meadows 144 to 155, pull-throughs with water, sewer, and 20/30/50-amp electric at $35 a night. Live Oak and Rio Frio offer 50-amp water/electric, and other loops have 30-amp or water only.
