• Choose C Loop if avoiding generator noise matters more and your battery/solar setup can cover the stay.

Generator rules can change with fire, safety or operational conditions. Follow posted instructions even if they are more restrictive than the general compendium.

Price Lake, Trails and Nearby Services#

Julian Price Memorial Park covers 4,200 acres around the campground and Price Lake. The campground supports a trip built around hiking, paddling and scenic Parkway drives rather than in-camp amenities.

The price is straightforward. Thirty dollars buys an in-Parkway base with water and dump access.

What Does Not Work#

No hookups means real resource management. Electricity, freshwater and tank capacity are the camper’s responsibility.

The shower house is closed in 2026. This is the biggest mismatch between current conditions and older reviews.

There is no walk-up fallback this season. All sites require reservations.

Access conditions can change. Road construction and closures need a fresh check before every trip.
