Zion RV camping: what to know
Zion RV camping means Watchman Campground inside the park (electric sites, no sewer) or the private resorts along the Virgin River corridor in Springdale, Virgin, Hurricane and La Verkin — several with full hookups and pools. The Zion–Mt. Carmel Tunnel has size restrictions that affect which entrance you use.

Can you RV camp in Zion National Park?
Yes. Watchman Campground has electric-hookup RV sites (no water or sewer at the site) near the south entrance and books six months ahead. Full-hookup RV parks are outside the park in Springdale, Virgin, Hurricane and La Verkin.
Are there RV parks near Zion with full hookups?
Yes — Zion River Resort in Virgin, Zion Canyon Campground in Springdale and several parks around Hurricane and La Verkin offer full hookups. Springdale is walkable to the shuttle; the others are a short drive.
Can a large RV go through the Zion tunnel?
Vehicles 7 feet 10 inches wide or 11 feet 4 inches tall or larger need a tunnel permit and a traffic-controlled escort through the Zion–Mt. Carmel Tunnel; some very large combinations are prohibited. Check the NPS tunnel page before routing via the east entrance.
