Why RVers stay here
Miami Everglades RV Resort is a 34-acre private RV resort in Florida City on the eastern approach to Everglades National Park, about 10 miles from the Homestead entrance. Our Everglades guide positions it as the full-hookup, resort-amenity option the in-park campgrounds cannot offer: concrete pads, pool and hot tub, camp store, laundry, WiFi, and planned activities. It suits big rigs that will not fit Flamingo's 35-foot limit and anyone who wants sewer and reliable internet during an Everglades trip.
Practically, sites have full hookups with 30/50-amp power, the park lists 300-plus sites and takes rigs of 60 feet and more, and rates run about $55 to $95 a night with seasonal variation. Book direct, and for winter our guide recommends reserving three or more months ahead. Being open on the edge of Florida City means easy resupply and a straightforward drive to the park entrance. The trade-off is setting: you are on the outskirts of a town rather than inside the park, so dawn wildlife walks mean a drive rather than a stroll from your site.
