Limekiln State Park

Limekiln is the small state park campground on the southern coast, about 2 miles south of Lucia, with sites along Limekiln Creek under redwoods and a short walk to a cove beach. It suits small rigs only: the park caps motorhomes at 24 feet and trailers at 15 feet. There are no hookups and no dump station (the nearest is at Pfeiffer), but there are token-operated hot showers for registered campers. Reservations are strongly encouraged and there are no first-come sites. As of September 2026 the park is operating with restrictions from the fires, and all transactions are cash only.
