The practical picture is deliberately spare: no hookups, vault toilets, shared water spigots, a seasonal dump station at the entrance and no showers at all; registered campers can use the free showers at Platte River Campground about 17 miles south. RV fit is site-specific rather than a universal 30-foot limit, so filter Recreation.gov by your real equipment and read the site record. Reservations are required May 15 through October 15 and open six months out. Generators are allowed only at sites 1 to 31 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; sites 32 to 81 are generator-free. The trade-off is comfort, and the separate Sleeping Bear entrance pass adds to the cost.

Book D.H. Day if you have a small rig, can camp without hookups, and want the Glen Haven and Dune Climb side of the park for $10. Skip it if you need electric, showers or a large-rig site, and look at Platte River instead.
No. There are no electric, water or sewer hookups at any site. Water comes from shared spigots and there is a seasonal dump station at the entrance.
