Ludington MI Campgrounds & RV Parks: 10 Best Options (2026)Crystal Lake Campground sits at 1884 W. Hansen Road in Scottville, about ten miles east of Ludington, on a spring-fed lake with a sand walk-out beach and paddle boats, canoes, kayaks and rowboats for rent. It is the family-lake alternative to the resorts: 160 sites in the forest, water/electric or full hookup with 30-amp service, Wi-Fi, a camp store and controlled pets allowed. Published 2026 rates are $55 for a water/electric tent site, $60 for a water/electric RV site and $65 for full hookup, with rental trailers at $175 a night. Monthly and seasonal rates are quoted on request.
Booking is old-school: phone only, 9 AM–9 PM, a one-night deposit, 3-night minimum paid in full on holiday weekends, a $20 cancellation penalty ($50 on rental trailers) and guest fees for visitors. One tent per site. There is no 50-amp service, so a big fifth wheel running two air conditioners belongs at Vacation Station or Poncho's. Season is May 1–October 15.
